Currently living in Cincinnati, critically acclaimed singer-songwriter April Combs fronted the alt-rock band Arson Garden, a band the Chicago Reader called “perhaps the only art rock band in North America that matters”) in the late 80’s/early 90’s. She has appeared on MTV and at Lollapalooza, performed a coveted Peel Session on the BBC’s Radio One, and recorded at Prince’s Paisley Park as well as John Mellencamp’s Belmont Mall. She has toured extensively across the United States and Europe and opened for a wide range of acts from The Replacements to Shaun Colvin to They Might Be Giants.

April Combs’ latest project, HONNEYCOMBS with her brother James and Laurie Burnham, is all about songwriting and harmony singing. She is also developing a children’s music project called April Eight focusing on pixies, fairies and l-o-v-e! That is a lot of songwriting, and she’ll tell you all about it – joined by Laurie Burnham singing her lovely harmonies. Join us!
