BABY BOX REPERTORY PREP(c) Ages 4-6
|

Saturdays 11 AM – 12 PM
($84 for 7 week session)
Instructor: TBA (directed by Carol Brammer)
A seven week exploration of character, theatre terms and direction, music theatre dance and song.
Presented in an age appropriate way with the goal of exciting the child and readying them for future participation in productions.
The class will focus on one theme and work each session (such as Jungle Book) so the children have a chance to set their own goals but still move as a group and create a finished product to proudly present to friends and family on a night TBA.

| CURTAIN CALL REPERTORY PREP(c) – Ages 7-14 |

This class follows the same format as Baby Box with an additional opportunity develop a more in-depth character study and learn more about theatre craft. Spending seven weeks understanding the part, the script and trying different acting techniques.
We will choose both Musicals and non-Musicals as our session focus.

BALLET BASICS(c) Ages 4-12

Instructor: Blair Godshall
Introducing ballet terminology and figures at barre and on floor. Proper ballet attire required (ballet slippers, tights and leotards).

VOCAL PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP(c) (ages 6-16)

Tuesdays 4 PM (Additional times will be added upon enrollment)

Instructor: Bryan Ohsung (directed and supervised by Tatiana (Tajci) Cameron
This class helps students develop their voice and learn to use it as a form of self-expression. Each class incorporates warm up and breathing exercises to teach students proper vocal technique and health use of their voice.
This small group vocal performance class will focus on particular musical theatre show each two sessions, study the music, the content and the dramatic delivery of the material. Some blocking and choreography will also be taught as students prepare to present their work at the end of each two sessions.
Carol Brammer (Drama Studio)
Carol became interested in the performing arts at an early age, and first started performing when she was three years old. She continued working in theater through adulthood, performing in numerous plays, musicals and community theater. In 1987 she was selected for a summer role with Warner Brothers, and later toured Europe and the United States in the Next Generation American music Review. In college, Carol pursued her interest in early child development while also traveling throughout the Midwest conducting weekly summer theater camps. Today, Carol continues teaching youth theater while raising children of her own.
Tatiana Cameron – Tajci (Vocal Studio)
Performing artist, musician, songwriter and music director, Tatiana has achieved platinum record sales in her native Croatia and has been performing in concert, in theatre and on television since she can remember. Her favorite performances were at Eurovison Song Contest, at Madison Square Garden, and Carnegie Hall. She has taught voice technique and performance privately in New York City and Los Angeles, CA. Tatiana is a graduate of American Musical and Dramatic Academy and Croatian Music Conservatory where she studied music theory and classical piano. Tatiana enjoys the opportunity to help children develop singing skills and build confidence to share their music. More about Tatiana at IdoBelieve.com
Blair Godshall is so excited to be directing at CPT after choreographing for the Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan & Wizard of Oz workshops! She is a sophomore in college majoring in the performing arts and psychology after studying at Indiana University as a Theatre major. Blair has directed many one act plays including The Fifteen Minute Hamlet by Tom Stoppard, My Gun is Pink & Murder @ the Ballet. She has been featured in the ensembles of Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dream coat, South Pacific, My Favorite Year, Les Miserable’s & The Sound of Music. Blair is also a trained ballet dancer having studied in her hometown of Indianapolis with Ballet International, Butler University, Dance Magic Performing Arts Center, The Indianapolis School of Ballet, The Indianapolis Youth Ballet Co. & Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Blair currently works at Kings Island Fear Fest as an actor and teaches Ballet Basics on Mondays at CPT.
Bryan Ohsung
Ohsung Bryan Kwon, a native of South Korea, earned doctor candidate in Piano Accompanying and Vocal Coaching at the University of Illinois. He received master’s degree in Vocal Accompanying at CCM. He has played for instrumental and vocal recitals. He was invited to play “Happy Prince” for Kentucky Opera, and worked for the Musical production of “How to Succeed in Business” at the Krannert Center Performance Production. Currently, Bryan is a music director at the Immanuel Presbyterian Church. He enjoys teaching piano and voice from beginner to advanced students to develop their musicianship based on strong technical foundation. Bryan has worked on numerous workshops and summer camps at the Clifton Performance Theatre.
