Miranda McGee – Bessie

Miranda is excited to return to CPT after “The Norwegians” and “The Realistic Joneses” last season. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, she received her B.A at Trinity University and worked at theatres in Australia and the US before settling in her favorite city, Cincinnati! Locally, she has worked with the Carnegie, the Covedale, Madcap Puppets, Know Theatre, the Cincinnati Fringe Festival, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and is a proud resident ensemble member at Cincinnati Shakespeare Company and a member of Actor’s Equity. Many thanks to Nate Netzley and Robert Macke for bringing her on board, and to the hardworking crew at CPT!

Carter Bratton

Carter Bratton – Mayor

Carter is a founder of Untethered Theater and a member of The Clifton Players appearing in many plays with the kids here at Clifton. He was last seen in Kirk Sheppard’s play “Chase the Dragon” with LAB Theatre.

Andy Simpson

Andy Simpson – Doctor

Andy Simpson is a local actor who is excited to be making his premiere with Clifton Performance Theatre. He would like to thank CPT for a great opportunity to work with a focused and talented cast. Elsewhere, you may have seem him in The Know Theatre’s recurring theatre party, SERIALS!. He is also a founding member of BRO CITY MAHALO CREW, a group of buttheads who like new plays.

Kyle Taylor

Kyle Taylor – Guy

Kyle is a Northern Kentucky University graduate making his debut with the Clifton Performance Theater. Kyle is excited to reprise the role of “Guy”, who he portrayed in the original workshop. Most recently, Kyle has been involved with the Lincoln Boyhood Drama Association in Abe Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale and NKU’s Into the Woods.

Emily Fry

Emily Fry – Girl

Emily is a recent graduate of Northern Kentucky University and is excited to make her debut performance with Clifton Performance Theatre. She has appeared in The Arabian Nights, The Wedding Singer and The Winter’s Tale at NKU.

Matt Krieg

Matt Krieg – Tourist

Matt Krieg is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University. He is thrilled to make his CPT debut and reprising the role he played in the first workshop of The Road Through Damascus. His most recent performance in Cincinnati was as Adam in Neil LaBute’s The Shape of Things with New Edgecliffe Theatre.

Nate Netzley – Director

Nate is honored and humbled to be making his professional directorial debut with CPT. Nate has spent the last two years working as CPT’s apprentice and then resident stage manager. He is thrilled to be working once again with Robert Macke, who he recently collaborated on with in the 2016 Cincinnati Fringe Festival production of Golconda. He would like to thank Carol, Cathy, Kevin, Carter and the other members of Clifton Performance Theatre for trusting him with opening the 2016-2017 season and to his family and friends for their constant love and support. 

Robert Macke – Writer

Robert is incredibly excited to make his professional debut with CPT. Robert is a recent graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a BFA in Playwriting, and currently pursuing an MFA in Dramatic Writing at University of Idaho. Robert’s play Golconda was recently produced in the 2016 Cincinnati Fringe Festival, and he has written several Serials at The Know Theatre of Cincinnati.

Katy Ward – Stage Manager

This is Katy’s first show here at CPT and she couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with such incredible people. Katy is graduate of Northern Kentucky University and has spent the last two years as a stage management intern at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. A big shout out to Nate for bringing her on board and to Robbie for writing a show that has taught her so much about solipsism.
